CARE Chooses RMI Direct Marketing for List Management
Effective July 1st, 2010, RMI Direct Marketing will be the new list manager for CARE USA, a leading humanitarian aid organization with a mission of combating global poverty by empowering women.
The selection of RMI was the result of an RFP that CARE initiated with select list managers last month.
"RMI submitted an impressive proposal with a clear understanding of our mission and objectives", says Andrea Kantargis, Manager, New Donor Acquisition at CARE. "They have a solid reputation in the industry and a diversified client base, which substantiated our decision to partner with them."
"RMI is truly honored to have been awarded list management for CARE," says Tally Maffucci, President of RMI Direct Marketing. "We admire their cause and are thrilled to embark on our partnership together."
With a recent update, the CARE donor list now has 33% more names, offering a total of 409,652 active contributors. Donors are primarily ages 55+ with an average income of $71,600. The file is split 50/50 between male and female donors, giving an average gift of $47.00.
"RMI sees great growth potential in the CARE donor list," says Cyndi Lee, RMI's Vice President of Business Development, "with the opportunity to expand into multiple secondary markets".
RMI Direct Marketing has a 25-year background in the nonprofit arena with an expertise of helping already mature files expand and diversify their list rental business. RMI's clients include AICR, American Lung Association, Arbor Day Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Christian Appalachian Project, Easter Seals, Guideposts, National Wildlife Federation, and many more.
"CARE is a perfect fit amongst RMI's client roster, and will greatly benefit from cross sales opportunities among our existing files," adds Cyndi Lee.
RMI and CARE will soon announce further details regarding the donor list's launch at RMI and any new opportunities within the file.
